NCAA versus U Sports Teams, Early Season 2017

A total of eighteen NCAA teams made a trip to Canada for exhibition games in August. Five Canadian teams also made a trip to southern locations to play NCAA teams on their visits. A total of 70 games were played, mostly NCAA Division I, but a few other games as well. Against Division I schools, the U Sports teams had a 22-41 record, which was just marginally less than the previous year record of 16-29.
